Innsbruck is located in the heart of the Alps and is one of the best destinations for winter sport enthusiasts. There are 13 ski areas to choose from in the region! All combinable with the Ski Plus City Pass. You can reach them with a free ski bus. From the mountain peaks of Innsbruck, Nordkette and Patscherkofel – within 20 minutes by bus or car – to the Axamer Lizum (30 minutes), the Schlick (30 minutes), the Kühtai (45 minutes), the Stubai Glacier (50 minutes) and many other beautiful skiing areas. Variety is taken care of!
Those who prefer to enjoy winter away from the slopes will find plenty of winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing trails, toboggan runs and ice rinks in the area. Afterwards, the saunas of the city offer sufficient relaxation.
